The Operating Crew Test Supervisor is responsible for executing flushes, activation, and testing, of ship propulsion systems, supporting auxiliary systems and prime movers on 2nd shift. Responsibilities also include supervising safe ship operations during sea trials. The OC Test Supervisor will direct the activities of Department 09OC test mechanics and coordinate activities with multiple trades including pipe, machinery, electrical, and vent on 2nd shift. All tasks are planned and executed with safety as the highest priority.
