Pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00 per hour.   This is a mid-level position to work in the Carpenter Trade.  Applicants may be assigned any C02 tasks with limited assistance, including but (not limited to):  Working with wood, aluminum, steel, or herculite to fabricate saw horses, ladders, steps, shipping containers, protective covers, and other items; shoring, jacking, and leveling of ship sections; installing fabricated furniture items and joiner doors on ships; installing temporary wooden decking panels; line handling to support ship float-off, sea trials, and inclining evolutions.

Contingent on an applicant's previous educational background and subject to internal progression models; this opportunity could lead to advancement within the Test and Activation area of the Electrical Trade. Responsible to comply with approved Departmental Operating Instructions. Read and interpret test memos. Participate in sea trials and work list ship systems to provide direction to the construction mechanics.
