Welding position, starting at $30.04/hr
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Perform welding in all positions (laying down, kneeling, standing, overhead)
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights over 6 feet
- Be able to carry/lift and setup welding equipment ranging from 20-66lbs
Pay range for this position is $26.76/hr - $28.94/hr.
This is an entry level position to work as a General Laborer. Core trade tasks for the General Laborer trade include (but are not limited to): production grinding, chipping, burning, oxy fuel and plasma cutting, set up of welding equipment, operating rolling stock as licensed, removal of snow and ice, and maintenance tasks. Additionally, General Laborers may be trained and assigned to work tasks of any other trade classification.
The pay range for this position ranges from $30.04/hr - $33.36/hr.
This is an experienced level position performing pipefitting processes such as fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of ship piping systems, including associated hangers, which are either welded, brazed, or mechanically joined. These processes may be performed in all areas of the shipyard including shipboard as well as various production buildings. Hires to this position may be assigned to perform any Pipefitting tasks....
