Provide all aspects of Trade Planning support to the Deptartment of Outside Machinist. Successful candidates will be expected to provide technical assistance to Front Line supervisors and mechanics, provide necessary documentation to accomplish work, research material, determine material availability, and order material as needed. The position may also include job package development. Training in the various planning functions will be provided. The job will consist of varying levels of office, shop floor, and onboard work.

This is an experienced level position to work in the Preservation Technician Trade. Applicants may be assigned any P10 Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned paint shop functions including (but not limited to): cleaning, sweeping, water removal, pneumatic tools, grinding, painting or snow shoveling.
Pay range for this position is $28.39/hr - $29.48/hr.
This is a mid-level position to work in the Preservation Technician Trade.Applicants Will be assigned to P10 Trade tasks. As Paint removal, hand pneumatic grinding /needle gun (surface prep), masking/unmasking, decking, damping tiles, Brush/ Roller/ Spray painting, and snow removal.

This is an mid-level position performing pipefitting processes such as fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of ship piping systems, including associated hangers, which are either welded, brazed, or mechanically joined. These processes may be performed in all areas of the shipyard including shipboard as well as various production buildings. Hires to this position may be assigned to perform any Pipefitter tasks.

This is a mid-level experience position to work as a Stagebuilder. Applicants may be assigned any Stagebuilder Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned basic staging operations including (but not limited to): assembling/disassembling all types of BIW staging and safety gear, operating pneumatic tools, operating mobile equipment, and performing hot work as required.
