The pay range for this position ranges from $24.50/hr - $25.50/hr.

This is an entry level position (grades 1-3) to work in the Machinist Trade. Applicants may be assigned any M04 Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned basic machine operations including (but not limited to): saws, drills, drill presses, grinders, de-burring etc., or to assist more experienced Machinists operating more complex equipment.

Preferred:

High School Diploma or GED.
Technical or Vocational training in machine operations.

Required:

Experience in basic machine operations and using basic shop tools.

Must be able to read/use basic precision measuring tools.
Must be able to read blue prints.
Must be able to read a tape measure, do basic layout and perform simple math calculations.
Must meet the requirements of the M04 physical task analysis.
