    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: •  Work closely with the LYS Program Manager to provide programmatic leadership and oversight for the DDG 51 Class Lead Yard Services (LYS) Contract Cost Status and Accounting.  The primary area of responsibilities will be:


    - Providing Monthly Contract Fund Status Report for LYS.  This report summarizes monthly performance to cost and schedule for LYS program.

    - Providing weekly funding depletion reports for all contract line items with trending forecasts.

    - Track rate performance on all LYS contract line items and explain variances.

    - Provide proposal support for future LYS proposals.

    - Provide weekly and monthly FTE charging reports.

    - Act as primary liaison for program cost questions and concerns with PMS400D7 COR.

    - Provide quarterly support of company business plans.

    - Review invoices to ensure costs are billed in the correct areas.

    - Process labor and material transfers.

    - Act as primary cost reviewer of Growth Authorization Requests for LYS FY Upgrade Work.

    - Maintain LYS Project/Cost Account/Work Package/CELT structure in Deltek

    - Open and close LYS material labor and material charging.

    - Work with PMS400D7 COR on developing parameters for contract modifications as required.

    - Provide cost summary status slides in support of quarterly Ship Program Reviews.

    - Maintain and submit FY Upgrade Project Plans.

    - Travel to Washington, DC and Pascagoula, MS for face to face meetings as needed.  


    Required/Preferred Education/Training

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or other Technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with demonstrated experience working in an analytical capacity required.



    Required/Preferred Experience

    5 + years project management and EVMS experience

    - Must have solid understand of EVMS and project management principles.

    - Must have knowledge of the BIW Organizational Breakdown Structure and CELTS

    - Must have knowledge of BIW Cost and Accounting tools

    - Must have strong oral and written communication skills.

    - Must be able to develop and present senior management level presentations

    - Must be well organized and capable of producing high quality correspondence and documentation

    - Preferred experience with BIW Engineering and Design organizations and processes
