The candidate will be responsible for running a multi-disciplined crew made up of Mechanical, Machinery, Janitorial and Electrical employees. Candidate needs strong background in electrical field while working closely with Department Manager to ensure daily and long-term projects are carried out. Responsibilities will include completing assignments within budget constraints and scheduled objectives, coordinating and facilitating resolution in accordance with the union agreement. Candidate will maintain a high level of credibility with the customer, peers, and mechanics.
High School diploma or GED required, Graduate BIW Apprentice preferred
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement cost reduction initiatives.
5-Years experience in a supervisory capacity.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
5-Years plant maintenance experience a plus.
PC skills mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict.
