Maintenance Planning – Planning and estimating work for production machinery repairs, electrical & electronic systems, and construction installation. Prepares methods, manning, and material packages with time slotting for scheduled completion
Maintenance Materials Procurement – Researches, creates procurement requisitions, arranges and expedites deliveries, monitors and replenishes inventories for work crews
CMMS – Repair and PM work order evaluation and development, statusing, prioritizing, maintaining backlog, readying for release, monitoring for performance and proper documentation, timely closeout
Technical Support – Develops and maintains equipment files and machinery data. Inspects and monitors preventative maintenance checks and diagnostic procedures. Helps analyze equipment failures. Performs technical correspondence with vendors. Helps research new technology, cost reductions, and equipment specifications
Administrative – Supports management in matters such as updating weekly plans, writing funding requests, performance histories, etc.
Physical Requirements - Possess the physical abilities but no limited to climbing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, stooping, stretching, twisting, walking, and working in awkward positions. Also, the ability to work in confined spaces and high exposed locations.
Supervision - Occasional direct supervision of jobs and work crews, weekends, and snow removal support required
High School Graduate or equivalent with minimum of (2-3) years of work experience in shipyard or other construction environment; or Bachelor's degree in technical field required.
