Job Description

In this unique role you'll have extensive exposure to our Navy customer, our exciting ships, and the value chain that makes it all happen. The role's core responsibilities include:
• Developing cost proposals for new Navy and commercial work
• Developing and maintaining installation standards for use in estimating change work
• Creating financial models
• Verifying change work scope via shipchecks and technical drawing reviews

Required/Preferred Education/Training

• 3 – 5 years of shipyard manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma, or
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other Technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with demonstrated experience working in an analytical capacity required. Proposal development experience is strongly desired.

Required/Preferred Experience

Estimating Analyst II:
- High School Diploma with 3 years of shipyard manufacturing experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or other Technical field
- Excellent analytical skills
- Willingness to improve Microsoft Excel and Access skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

Estimating Analyst III:
- 5 years of experience in a technical field, business (Accounting or Finance), or manufacturing field.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Above average Word, Excel, and/or Access ability
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Proposal development experience is strongly desired.

 

• Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
